Little piece of art based on an O-zone lyric.
I’ve been slightly in love with this lyric from the Moldovan band O-zone’s hit song Dragostea Din Tei for years. It’s a near-ideal example of Europop, made more perfect by the fact that few fans of the song could understand it’s Romanian lyrics. After their explosive success, I heard they had an English version of the same song, where I heard a line of unusual poetry for the relatively formulaic genre.
I thought I’d make something to bring that poetry to life.
Turns out it also works pretty well for grocery lists. It’s art!
